The TP9400 from Tait is an Analog, P25 Phase I & II Digital Trunked Two way radio that’s 5.35” tall and weighs 11.46oz. Two models are available, the TP9455 with limited keypad and the TP9460 with a full keypad. Both models have a channel capacity of 1000 that can be software upgraded to 2000.
Its compact yet rugged design meets and exceeds MIL-STD-810 C/D/E/F/G standards and is IP67 rated against Dust and submersion in water. This ergonomic, very rugged two way radio with internal 2 Watt speaker allows for loud and clear communications.
The TP9400’s frequency range covers the UHF 378-470MHz, 450-520MHz bands with 4 watts, the VHF 136-174MHz band with 5 watts, and the 757-870MHz band with 3 Watts.
The TP9400 series can be used in Analog direct and repeater, P25 Digital direct, repeater and trunked mode covering the Phase 1 and Phase 2 formats.
